“Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.”
Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi
Dance is a powerful and expressive subject which encourages students to develop their creative side through physical and intellectual capacity. The subject welcomes students from all abilities with a keen interest in the dance.
Pupils at Three Rivers Academy are taught a wide range of dance styles including contemporary, jazz, social and cultural dance. Dance is run after school to challenge and develop students who are aiming to continue dance at KS4. There are two separate dance companies: TRA for Year 7 and 8’s and Collateral for Year 9 and above.
