Parent Teacher Association
Three Rivers Academy has a very active PTA. We work closely with the school helping wherever and whenever we can for the ultimate benefit of our children and the local community.
The PTA has been an integral part of the school for many years and in its time has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance the students education experience and the school's facilities. Some of our larger contributions in the last few years include:
- Team kits for the PE Dept
- Picnic Benches
- iPads for SENCO
- Portable Radio Mics
- Stage Lighting
- Badminton posts & nets
- Table Tennis Tables
But to continue successfully we need the support of new parents to replace those that naturally leave us each year. So please don't dismiss us.

LOCAL BUSINESS LINKS
We benefit too from the support of many local businesses our main contributors being;
James Neave will also donate 10% of their fee to the PTA for any property sale where the instructing owner has children who attend the school. Just advise them when instructing... it's as simple as that!
We are always looking for ways to strengthen our links with the local community. Local business can make a huge difference to our fundraising efforts.
We are a registered charity which means we are able to receive charitable donations from both local and national companies. Do you work for a company that runs such a scheme? Do you work for a company that produce or sell items that we could auction or raffle?
If you do and you think they may be able to help us please email threerivers-PTA@hotmail.com

From a starting point of £5000 (our surplus from last year) we look set to achieve 50% of our target by the end of the year... mainly thanks to our Alumni Reunion and the BAM Construction Charity Golf Day held this week at Burhill Golf Club.
With such a fantastic start we're sure you'll agree £50,000 doesn't sound quite such an impossible target after all.
Quiz Night raises £1100 for the new furniture fund.
Another close run contest with The Indecisives ultimately being pipped to the post by Universally Challenged. Thanks to Mr Payne & Mr Everett for another fun filled challenging quiz.
More fundraising events are in the pipeline so watch out for news from our PTA about a fantastic Christmas raffle and a ‘Goodbye to Rydens’ event planned for early next term.
If you are a UK tax payer any donations to the Three Fivers Furniture Fund can be gift aided if you use the pta-events link below... you just need to tick the appropriate box and we will get an extra 25% from HMRC.
