Windsor House would like to welcome all new students and staff that have joined the house this year and we are all hugely excited about the challenge ahead of being the number 1 house! Students in Windsor House thrive on competition and are determined to ensure that Windsor House leads from the front and sets the standards high in everything we do. The challenge ahead for all Windsor students is for us to lead all other houses in attendance, drama, music, sports and raise as much money as possible for our fantastic charity ‘The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice’. Last year we raised a brilliant £2950!

In the first House assembly of the academic year all students were challenged to make mistakes and accept that failing is part of achieving success. Students were shown examples of famous celebrities from the sporting, acting and music industries and told about their many failures but through their determination and hard work they achieved their dreams. Old habits are hard to change but to be successful and achieve you have to try something new and not be afraid to experience failure. Windsor students are encouraged to try something new whether it is representing the house in an event, joining an extra-curricular club or getting up earlier in the morning to avoid being late. These are simple, small things that can have a big impact on a student’s achievement and development. Last term, ex Windsor student and Rio 2016 Olympian, Rebeka Simon joined us for an assembly and talked about her journey to Rio and the sacrifices and hard work she puts into both her studying and training. Rebeka is a real inspiration to us all and shows that through hard work and dedication you can achieve your goals.

We want all students in Windsor House to ACHIEVE their goals and BELIEVE in themselves and each other. But to fulfil this Windsor House students are continually reminded of the hard work that is needed in order to SUCCEED.

Students from Windsor House have an opportunity to take part in many inter-house events. In the Autumn Term students have the opportunity to join the House Drama production which is fantastically organised and coordinated by our House Drama Captains. All students are encouraged to take part and join in not only for their house but for their own development.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WINDSOR!
