Go4SET & BP Challenge

Rydens Enterprise School RES BP Challenge Go4SET

A team of 5 students in Year 9, Harrison Ahmad, Emil Hughes, Matt Hall, Rhys Heather and William Bewsey took part in Go4SET project and have been worked determinedly on two challenges set by EDT and BP. Mrs Puri and two BP mentors were supporting and guiding the students throughout the project. The students had to design a cooling hard hat for BP employees to wear in hot countries to keep them cool and design a way to collect purified water for employees who will be in a middle of a sea with no water.

RES Year 9 Presentation

The students created a stall and conducted a presentation at BP on 27th April to present their work. They also had BP employees, parents and guest visiting their stall. The students were a credit to the school and great ambassador of STEM. They were great public speakers and came across with huge confidence to present their products.
