Year 7 Science

Most lessons are mixed ability. Maths, Science and Languages will be taught in ability groups and students may move up or down depending on the progress they make throughout the year. Humanities have one gifted and more able group, with the rest of the groups being mixed ability.

Reports and Parents' Evening

Reports are provided in December, March and July of Year 7. Please see the Year 7 Handbook for more information on the reporting process. There is a “meet the tutor” evening in October, where you will have the opportunity to meet their child’s tutor and see how they have settled into secondary school. In April, you will get to meet your child’s subject teachers and discuss their academic progress.
